For Alexys and Chad, the wedding was part of something bigger: a week dedicated to being together.

They chose Dreams Vista not only for its spectacular views over the Caribbean and Cancún, but because it offered the kind of experience they envisioned sharing with their family — golf, beaches, time on the water, and activities that allowed everyone to connect while simply enjoying being there.

The wedding itself was photographed by two photographers, giving us the freedom to document the day from different perspectives while still allowing the couple to remain present in it.

The morning began with the getting ready, where we made space for more formal and intentional portraits. Alexys also shared two beautiful first looks — one with her wedding party and another with her father. Both were deeply emotional.

There were meaningful gifts, too. Alexys surprised her father with a special gesture, and Chad received a watch from one of his favorite brands. His reaction was genuine and unforgettable.

But Alexys and Chad chose to save their own first look for the ceremony.

When they finally saw each other in the palapa, the emotion of that moment spoke for itself.

After the ceremony came the family photographs, followed by something much more relaxed.

Alexys and Chad had specific places around Dreams Vista where they wanted to create photographs that felt more like them: the spiral staircase, the bar, and the rooftop with its distinctive setting. Instead of traditional, heavily posed portraits, we let the photographs become more spontaneous, playful, and relaxed.

And then came the party.

They completely immersed themselves in it — dancing, laughing, and celebrating with the people they had spent the entire week connecting with.

Those moments became some of the most genuine and authentic photographs of the entire wedding.

For me, what made Alexys and Chad's story so special was that the photographs reflect the entire experience they wanted: meaningful moments, beautiful surroundings, time with family, and plenty of room to simply have fun.

A wedding, but also a week they could truly experience together.
